A gold medal-winning Paralympian wheelchair rugby star visited Crawley this week to present medals to two paralysed youngsters who had completed a fundraising challenge.

Kylie Grimes, who made history as part of Great Britain’s gold medal winning team at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, was only too pleased to meet Scarlett, 12 and Jasper, 9 and hear how they are getting along in their ‘Step Up Challenge’, which aims to raise £20,000.

The funds are needed to safeguard the Neurokinex ‘Step Up Scheme’ which provides a life changing set of six free rehab sessions to adults and children with new spinal cord injuries.
