Felpham Colts 4 Predators 0

The Colts came out worthy 4-0 winners in this derby clash. It was no surprise when a superb pass from Cian Markie found Harry Geall, who smashed home to put the Colts one up.

Soon it was 2-0 when a corner from Josh Mines found Geall lurking and he headed into the bottom corner.

It was three when Mines found Markie and he hit home a screamer. With the Colts cruising, changes were made with Rhys Nicholas, Luke Dent, Daniel Kearns, Oliver Payne and Charlie Jays all coming on and playing fine football.

A long Kearns throw found its way through to Nicholas and he poked home to seal a comfortable win.

Credit goes to Predators for their effort and determination, but the Colts’ class showed as they went back to the top of the league. Man of the match was Mines.

COLTS: Cogger, Partridge, Searle, Walker, Markie, Mines, Kearns, Dent, Payne, Geall, Jays, Nicholas.

The match started at a fast pace with Preston Blades causing problems to the Chichester defence, but Paddy McGreal kept them out.

Jack Briant was in outstanding form with numerous saves to keep the game scoreless and new signing Jake O’Brennan made his mark with the first of his four goals. One was a delightful chip after a great move by Josh Durmush.

Preston did claw one back before half-time to make it 4-1.

The second half started with Preston Blades making it 4-2. Then Joseph Osmend produced a lovely piece of skill to take it round the keeper and make sure of the points for the Colts.

Briant claimed the man-of-the-match award with special mention going to O’Brennan whose debut goals made all the difference.

Chichester City Colts 1 Predators Yth 7

Predators long unbeaten run continued with this comfortable cup win.

They were set on their way with a penalty converted by Jordan Smith. Ashley Butler added a second before Brandon Williams cut in from the touchline and curled the third into the top corner.

The Colts defence had no answer to Williams’ pace and he nabbed his second before half-time, racing clear of the defence and coolly lobbing the keeper.
