“Too many times this year they have not felt good because of it, so they have decided to step down and play County League football.”
And Chapman knows they will be a loss to the team. He said: “They were two decent players for us. The season before this one Andy won every trophy for us. And Joe’s been invaluable as well. But they are not leaving because of money, it’s because of their business. They are great lads.”
Chapman will be looking to rebuild his squad ready for next season in the Ryman Premier. He has already spoken to some players but said there is ‘nothing concrete’ yet.
