EP open up ten-point lead at the top
Liam Baitup and Tom Levitt had early opportunities to give EP the lead as Chichester worked hard to keep the hosts out in the first half.
East Preston went ahead four minutes into the second half when Joe Shelley scored from the penalty spot, following a foul on Baitup.

Hide AdMike Huckett headed home the second on 56 minutes, before Shelley brilliantly got the third with a flicked back heel from a Matt Axell cross on 74 minutes.
Darren Boswell tapped home the fourth three minutes from time when substitute Shaheen Sadough unselfishly squared the ball.
East Preston boss Dominic Di Paola said: “We didn’t play very well in the first half but upped it a bit in the second and played some lovely football.”
On moving ten points clear, Di Paola said: “We’ve just got to worry about ourselves. If we play our best each week, hopefully, that will be enough to win games, although it’s easier said than done.”
EP are at Shoreham on Saturday.
