The event hosted Britain’s top trampoline tumbling and DMT talent as participants battle to make the top 16 for a place in national finals.
The girls competed in age at NDP7, where Hauxwell, 12, and Morton, 11, performed a combination of ten various somersaults with twists and Johnston, 14, managed 12 somersaults in a ten-bounce routine with accuracy and grace.

They are looking for a place at Britain’s top level eight where only a handful of trampolinists are able to participate because of the level of difficulty and precision required.
Johnston is 0.2 off the qualification tariff and Hauxwell and Morton 0.5. All children at NPD8 in their age are in the British squad. Considering the small number of hours these girls train because of financial constraints, they are doing exceptionally well.
The girls are looking for sponsorship to continue their sport at this level. Anyone interested should contact the Dragonflyers through their website.
