Women in digital to share success stories at SheSays event
The event is part of Brighton Digital Festival, and will see five women in digital take to the stage to talk about ‘the future female’.
Gen Ashley, the founder of TECH(K)NOW Day conference for women in tech, is on the line-up, sharing her extensive experience in the digital industry.

Hide AdShe is also director of Women Who Code London, lead for Google Women Techmakers London, NASA Space Apps Challenge London, Twitter Developer Community London and Google Developer Groups London.

As well as being on the leadership committee for Ada’s List and co-organiser of COED:CODE, OpenTechSchool London and London Game Developers, she was instrumental in delivering the first one-day Grace Hopper Conference in Europe and was recently awarded as the Most Valuable Professional by Microsoft.
Also speaking at SheSays is Bushra Burge, owner and creative director of award-winning creative technology studio BB Studio.

Hide AdThe studio’s recent projects include immersive stories using virtual reality, integrated with wearable tech, for education, science, communication and fashion marketing.
Liz Harrison-Flynn, group director of digital services at Legal & General is the third speaker on the line-up. Liz will be sharing her extensive experience in digital technical delivery within the financial services and telecoms industries. Ruth Oliver from Lighthouse, Brighton’s organisation for contemporary digital culture, is on the SheSays line-up. Ruth was head of marketing at Brilliant Noise and she produced the annual Dots conference, bringing together perspectives from the marketing and digital industries.
And also speaking at SheSays is Mariam Crichton. a leader, an innovator and a digital change-make.
Working with start-ups, which have all gone on to achieve great success, has given Mariam considerable experience in leading all aspects of early stage business growth.
