The Met Office has forecast localised heavy rain will move across Sussex this morning - in some places it has already arrived - before moving north eastwards.
Brighter conditions are expected to follow, but with some scattered showers. Most showers are expected to die away by late afternoon as we move into a fresh and breezy evening.

Hide AdMaximum temperatures are forecast to hit 22 degrees Celsius.
Into the night there may be some isolated showers, but most places will remain dry. It will stay breezy and be noticeably cooler than recent nights.
Temperatures are expected to drop to a minimum of 10 degrees Celsius.
