Baby in '˜stable condition' following fall from flat window
Officers were called to a block of flats in Hillmead, Gossops Green, at 6.10pm on Wednesday (August 17).
Police said the young girl had fallen two flights from an open window onto a grass area outside.

Hide AdThe Air Ambulance was called along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service which sent a paramedic car and an ambulance to the scene.
She was flown to St George’s Hospital in South London to be treated for serious injuries, officers said.
A spokesman for Sussex Police told the Observer today: “The toddler is in a stable condition.”
There are no suspicious circumstances but police are working to establish what happened, the spokesman added.

Hide AdNeighbour Louise Halliday wrote on the Observer Facebook page: “I heard the ambulances and could see something happening from the back of our house but never dreamed it would be something like this.
“I really pray this little one makes a full recovery.”
Another neighbour described the incident as the ‘worst thing she had ever seen’.
