Thousands enjoy a '˜wonderful' festival
Guests at the popular Durrington annual fiesta at Lamb Park in Pond Lane were treated to dancing, a dog show and much more at the ‘wonderful’ event.
Sharon Clements, one of the six organisers of the event, said: “We were really pleased with the outcome, really enjoyed it.

According to Mrs Clements, the children had spent several weeks learning a variety of different dance techniques at school.
The festival also featured stalls from a number of local charities, including care services charity Guild Care.
A Guild Care spokesman said on Twitter: “Great to see the Worthing Mayor at the Durrington Festival.

However despite being a rousing success, this year’s festival was hampered by financial difficulties.
Mrs Clements added: “Unfortunately due to lack of funds we were unable to put on the evening festival this year
“We are hopeful to bring back the evening festival and fireworks next year.”
