Half marathon runners supporting an educational charity in Sedlescombe were presented with two trophies at an awards ceremony on Sunday (April 24).

Team Pestalozzi won the Bill Bailey Charity Trophy for being the largest charity running group at the Hastings Half Marathon as well as an award for being the biggest nonaffiliated group at the ceremony in St Leonards.

The team supported the Pestalozzi International Children’s Trust, a ‘village’ in Sedlescombe that provides secondary education scholarships to disadvantaged young adults.
