School children dress up for day of fun
The children of William Penn School, Coolham, dressed up spotty for a fantastic day of fun. The entertaining day was in aid of Children in Need 2014. The children enjoyed designing Pudsey masks, Pudsey underpants and wrote acrostic poems about the charity. William Penn raised over £100 for Children in Need. Alice White (Year 5) wrote the below acrostic poem.
Pudsey is the mascot for Children in Need
Understanding how to come together to help others
Donations mean the world to the children’s charity
Smiles of the children we will see
Everyone helping each other
You can change children’s lives for ever
