Worthing school ‘particularly proud’ after Reindeer Run success

Orchards Junior School pupils enjoy dressing up for the annual event, donning Christmas clothes, red noses and antlers.
This year, they raised £7,158.68 for the children’s hospice, which was a remarkable achievement.

Hide AdFiona McCarthy, deputy head, said: “This is an annual event for us, which is always generously supported, but this year we are particularly proud as we have raised more than £7,000.
“This means that to date we have raised more than £30,000 for this cause.”
Caroline Roberts-Quigley, community fundraiser for the children’s hospice, was presented with the cheque at school today.
