Hide AdOwen left his house on Thursday evening (March 26), to watch the sunset in the Telscombe Tye area and has not been seen or in contact with anyone since.
Police on Friday (April 3), urged drivers to check their dashcams as they continue to extensively investgate the circumstances around his disappearance.
Owen’s mother, Stella, said she believed he could be trekking 280 miles to Yorkshire to see his girlfriend.
Sussex Police confirmed it had not discounted this, but there were no indications at all to support this or indeed that he has left Sussex.
