All information and photos come from the RSPCA, and each of these dogs are available at branches situated in Chichester and Brighton.
5. Simon - three-year-old Shepherd cross
Simon is a very friendly boy loves to play with toys, especially a ball, which he'll often carry around on his walks. Although he is a big boy, he likes to try and sit on your lap for a cuddle! Simon is a new arrival who is still being assessed at the moment. Photo: RSPCA
6. Frank and Rosie - British Bulldog pair
Frank and Rosie are both very friendly, affectionate dogs who enjoy fuss and attention, the RSPCA has said. They walk well on the lead but have not done a lot of walking recently, so will need to build up their exercise levels slowly. Frank and Rosie have lived with another male dog and cats in their previous home. They are looking for a new home where they can stay together and could live with older children. They are new arrivals who are still being assessed. Photo: RSPCA
7. Eugene - two-year-old Terrier cross
Eugene is a friendly boy who can be a little shy at first but can be quickly won-over, the RSPCA said. He enjoys a fuss and treat and loves his walks. What he most enjoys, though, is playing with his toys! He absolutely loves chasing a ball or ragging a soft toy. Eugene is a new arrival who is still being assessed at the moment. Photo: RSPCA
8. Richard - two-year-old Shih Tzu cross Terrier
Richard was sadly abandoned by his previous owner, the RSPCA said. He is a very friendly, affectionate little dog who enjoys his walks and likes to sit on your lap for a fuss. He could live with a female dog in his new home after successful introductions at the shelter. Richard will need his own garden and could live with older children. Photo: RSPCA
