Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day to many of us) comes next, immediately before Ash Wednesday on March 6. It will be celebrated with Eucharist at 8am at St Bartholomew’s and the imposition of ashes. The Friends of Waldron Churches will be holding their Annual General Meeting at All Saints on Friday March 8 starting at 6pm. Refreshments will be provided and everyone is welcome to hear what the Friends have been getting up to over the past year. The following Sunday (March 10) will be Lent and services will be held at St Bartholomew’s. Family Support Work (FSW) is asking us to bring items for breakfast for families in need. The following week’s collection will target items for lunch.
