I tripped on the 24th and should like to thank the two gentlemen who help me get up, and Sarah Norman of the Hair and Beauty Boutique nearby for her offer of help.
My wife’s fall was more serious and she was helped by a lady living in Orchard Avenue, Lancing, who staunched the blood coming from a deep cut above her eye. Also, Sarah Norman was on hand to offer her help.

Hide AdWe are most grateful to all these people and we should like to thank the ambulance crew and the doctors and nurses at Worthing Hospital who attended to my wife, and also the doctors at the Ball Tree Surgery in Lancing.
I am on the way to recovery but my wife is experiencing much difficulty and is still in great pain.
Finally, our thanks do not end here since we are grateful to the reporter and photographer of your paper, who covered the events so expertly.
