Cross at closure
I understand that Network Rail wants to close Toddington level crossing permanently because it is expensive to maintain.
The whole length of Toddington Lane has been a public highway for at least 380 years.
This right of way was withdrawn when the railway line was built in 1846.

We, and others such as nursery employees are, therefore, entitled to expect the railway authorities to have a moral obligation to continue this age-old facility without further restriction!
