The store re-opened following three weeks of work which sees a new layout and a focus on fresh, healthy foods, meal ideas and essentials. The store will also deliver a funding boost for local community groups through its membership scheme. Members receive a five per cent reward on purchases of own-branded products and services, with a further one per cent going directly to local causes to make a difference in the community – groups currently benefitting include: Worthing Boys’ Club; Seaside Hospital Radio and Reaching Families. Jamie Bartle, Store Manager for the Goring Road Co-op, said: “We are delighted to have made such a significant investment in our Goring Road store, it looks great and we are looking forward to welcoming the community into their new-look store.
