Hide AdCeyhun, who works at a newsagents in St Leonards, had been heading over to the taxi rank when the incident happened, on March 14 at 2.15am.
Mum Trudy Davies, who lives with her son in High Street, Bexhill, said: "All underneath his eye was ripped away, where we think he has been dragged along by a vehicle. He will have permanent scarring from this.
"He needed 12 stitches, and there has been damage to his teeth, they have either been broken off or forced right up into his gums, we couldn't make out because of all the swelling.
"We just want to know what happened, there has been no concrete stories.

Ceyhun said: "All I know is I left the Brass Monkey at about 2.10am, crossed the road to get a taxi and somehow managed to end up face first on the tarmac several meters down the road.
"I'm sure someone must know exactly what happened, there were plenty of people there, all the bars and clubs had just shut and the taxi rank was bust as it always is at that time."
CCTV cameras did not pick up the smash, and police are now appealing to anyone who might have seen what happened.
