Littlehampton call to speak up on area’s health services
A team of volunteers from the Littlehampton Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) were dressed as doctors, nurses and dentists on Tuesday, during their visit to the town’s High Street.
They were encouraging passersby to stop, sit down on their mock-up hospital bed and chat with them to help the organisation build a better picture of how health services are performing throughout the area.

Hide AdFrances Russell, chairman of Healthwatch West Sussex, said: “Our health and social care system is going through massive change. Every voice counts when it comes to shaping the future. But people rarely speak up, some perhaps for fear of repercussions, others because they don’t think they can make a difference.
“We aim to change that with Healthwatch which is an opportunity for the public to use its voice to have real influence. It’s the new local independent consumer champion for health and social care.”
Healthwatch is run in conjunction with Chichester and Arun CAB. For more details, or to submit your story – either a positive or negative one – visit, www.healthwatchwestsussex.co.uk or call 0300 012 0122.
