What a difference a day makes. After yesterday's bright clear day you will be needing an umbrella this morning as a persistent band of rain falls across Hastings and Rother.

It is set to clear away later this morning but there is more bad new with an even heavier band of rain sweeping in this afternoon.

It is warm for this time of year though with temperatures along the coast average 13 degrees.
