VIDEO: Don Lock's son criticises '˜arrogant' NHS trust
This followed the life sentence that Matthew Daley received today for stabbing the pensioner 39 times last July.
Daley, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, was found guilty of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility in May.

Hide AdOn the steps of Lewes Crown Court, Andrew Lock delivered a statement on behalf of his family which criticised the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which wrongly diagnosed Daley before the killing.
Andrew said that Daley had been ‘badly treated by the NHS by a catalogue of failures’ and was a ‘danger to the public if not properly supervised and medicated’.
Earlier in the courtroom, the judge, Mr Justice Rabinder Singh, had said that the sentencing was not a public enquiry into the failings of the NHS trust.
But Andrew Lock said ‘it is now up to the NHS and the systematic arrogance that exists in the medical world to change for good, and to wake up to the fact that we all deserve to be listened to’.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Rymarz also spoke after the sentencing.
He said: “Don Lock’s family lost someone to awful circumstances and somehow have to move on together from this.
“I would like to reiterate how incredibly dignified his family have been throughout this process. It has been a privilege for those involved in the investigation to know them.”
