A drone was then launched and detected the other two suspects, using a thermal imaging camera, hiding in a neighbouring garden.
All three suspects were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, police said.
A 16-year-old boy from Worthing was released on conditional bail until July 13, and a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both of no fixed address, were released on conditional bail until July 11, pending further enquiries.
