Robbery at Amberley Museum
Two men assaulted the 43-year-old as he made his way through the site at Houghton Bridge, Arundel, around 9.30pm.
The criminals then instructed him to open the restaurant safe from which they stole a large amount of money.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Police are seeking information from anyone who was in or passing through Amberley on the B2138 in West Sussex.
“They were seen to run off along the main road in the direction of Houghton, and may have got into a waiting white car.
“As they were getting in they dropped a small quantity of cash from the robbery and this has been recovered by police.
“The men are both described as wearing dark clothing, one being about 5’ 10” and of chunky build. Both were carrying dark carrier bags or bags of a similar type.”

Hide AdDetective Inspector Jo Banks added: “Anyone who saw these men running away or getting into a car is asked to contact us via 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1428 of 09/10.”
Police say no weapons were involved and the employee suffered some bruising but did not need hospital treatment.
