Police appeal for information after theft from vehicle in Burgess Hill
Police confirmed that the incident happened in Chanctonbury Road on Saturday, April 8.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information which could assist officers with their investigation is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting serial number 781 of 11/04.”

Hide AdPolice also issued a warning about Mid Sussex vehicle crime to residents who are subscribed to the Sussex Alerts system.
They said there were multiple reports of vehicles having their windows smashed between Thursday and Sunday, April 6-9. Police said these incidents happened in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. They added that items including garden tools and power tools were stolen from vehicle in Albourne.
Police said people can help prevent vehicle crime by locking their vehicles, closing windows, securing anything on the outside of the vehicle and hiding electrical items.
