Nine van break-ins across Mid Sussex
Since Friday (October 18) there have been nine break-ins across the district, all with tools stolen from them.
Between 5pm on October 18 and 1pm on October 20 a Transit van parked on Hollands Way, East Grinstead had its window forced and a sat nav, camera and drill were stolen.

Hide AdA Fiat Ducato parked on Sussex Way, Burgess Hill was broken into 10am and 11am on October 22.
Two leaf blowers,a hedge cutter and a strimmers as well as a bag were taken.
A van parked at the Hickstead Travelodge had its window smashed and £5,000 worth of tools were stolen between 10pm on October 22 and 7am on October 23.
Between 10.35am and 11.20am on October 23 a car was broken into when it was parked in the overflow car park at The Haven Centre in Crawley Down.

Hide AdThe window was smashed and a mobile and loose change was taken.
Thieves broke into a van in a 15 minute gap while a van was parked at BE Aerospace in Charles Avenue, Burgess Hill.
Access was gained by the back and side doors and tools were taken.
Around 11.35am on October 23, two vans were broken into while parked at All Saints Church in Lindfield High Street. The doors were forced and tools were taken.

Hide AdPower tools were stolen from a van which was parked on Copthorne Common in Copthorne at around 11.45am.
PCSO Anika Clough said: “Please do not leave anything of value in you vehicle and ensure it is locked. Try and park in a well-lit, open location and always use any fitted security features, such as an alarm or immobiliser. Be vigilant when parking vans which obviously are used to carry tools.
“If you have any information or saw anything suspicious please contact Sussex Police on 101.”
