Bexhill Scouts show skills to win a treasured trophy
As part of the competition Cubs, aged 8-11 years old, in teams of 6 had to undertake a number of tasks, using Scouting skills, including the following pitching a hike tent, putting up a dining shelter, making a fire and cooking a sausage and creating a useful camp gadget.
Teams are judged on team work, scouting skills and technical ability.
Raksha Cubs are part of Senlac District Scouts.

Hide AdMike Clark. from Senlac, said: “Senlac Scouts covers nine Scout Groups across Bexhill and as far as Battle, Robertsbridge and Burwash with over 600 Youth members and 130 Adult leaders.
“Our aim is to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. Youth members go through Scouting gaining a variety of awards adding to their skills for life and helping them differentiate themselves when seeking future employment.
“We were privileged to have the UK Youth Commissioner Hannah Kentish on the judging panel.
Hannah works directly with the UK Chief Commissioner, Chief Executive and Chairman to ensure that The Scout Association’s decisions and planning are shaped by young people.
