Adur Festival's rocking start

BEACH Dreams celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, with its annual procession and extravanganza on Saturday, June 7.

Global Tales is the theme, with processions leaving from Shoreham Beach First School, in Shingle Road, and the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kings Walk, at noon to converge on Beach Green, Shoreham Beach, at 12.30pm for an enactment to start the day's events.

There will be live music on stage, food and stalls, and entry is free.

The daytime events finish at 6pm.

Eighties band Cutting Crew will perform in the Beach Dreams marquee, on Beach Green, that night from 8pm.
