On Saturday, May 11, at 7.30pm, the trad jazz boys will be taking to The Stade, for a free gig. They have been playing jazz in the style of the New Orleans parade bands throughout the south east for more than 50 years. Look out for their arrival on the miniature railway. As fresh as when they formed in 1958, these are the original ‘distant horns of summer’. The programme of free performances on The Stade runs every Saturday from this weekend until October.
