New app bolsters Bagelman's environmental credentials
Bagelman, which has four stores in the city, will reward its customers who sign up to the new paperless loyalty card with free bagels.
The smartphone app allows customers to collect loyalty card points digitally, reducing the business’s paper use, and it will also allow customers to pre-order and pay with their phones.

These moves have helped the business reach its zero to landfill target.
Anthony Prior, Bagelman managing director, said: “The app development is a big step for us and the latest, but not the last, in a series of green and ethical business initiatives. We’ve received some amazing feedback on the changes we’ve made so far from our customers, and we’re excited to be able to give everyone who continues to support our modifications a little thank you in the form of a free bagel!”
The app can now be downloaded free from the Google Play and iPhone app stores.
Bagelman has shops at Brighton Station, Bond Street, Duke Street and Church Road in Hove.
