DPD team in Burgess Hill collects hundreds of Easter eggs and raises cash for charity

General manager Andy Marsden and operations manager Shelby Samuel asked delivery drivers and depot workers for cash donations and chocolate eggs to help Super Siblings and Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
Rocking Horse aims to improve the quality of life for unwell children across Sussex.

Hide AdThey are the official fundraising arm for the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.
Super Siblings is a Crawley-based charity that supports children who have siblings with additional needs.
They provide weekly sessions to help them meet and interact with other children in similar situations.
The goal is to give them a form of respite and let them have fun in a safe and understanding environment.

Hide AdThe money raised by DPD will be used to buy essential sensory play equipment for children at the the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
The Easter eggs will all be given to Super Siblings who will pass them to the families that they support.
