Video: Paralympic Lantern arrives in Horsham
A carnival parade was led by Sussex table tennis star and future Paralympian hopeful Tyler Paul and Michael Hobbs, a local disabled athlete and volunteer, who brought the Paralympic Lantern across the Park to a special stage.
It was then handed over to chairman of the district council, Leonard Crosbie, and West Sussex County Council deputy leader, Lionel Barnard.

Hide AdThe Lantern ceremony was part of a Paralympic celebrations which also included a chance to have a go at various sports, including goalball, Boccia, blind football, table tennis, athletics, cricket and gymnastics.
There was also an enormous painted Paralympic panel created by local artists, live bands, DJs, dance workshops, dance performances, welcome flag making workshops and the Blue Touch Paper integrated samba band ‘Boom Tribe’.
